I had no idea this place was just down the street. I stopped by here for dinner tonight. Cute place but filled up very quickly snd crowded. The menu looked great but can be overwhelming to some. I had chosen the pick 4. I chose tuna nigiri, chicken katsu don, shrimp tempura and spicy california roll. Honestly it was all delicious and very tasty. The roll was great how can you get the wrong. The chicken was crispy and flavourful, the tempura was light not heavy and not as greasy as others and the tuna was perfect. Tempura and chicken was served very hot! Which was amazing. The service was very quick and friendly. I will definitely come back! Price not too bad! 23.95! Thanks for having me Sushi Moon! See you again soon!

Tasty food, good value and service. This restaurant opened some time ago but we only got around to trying it in the last month. There is no shortage of Japanese restaurants in Vancouver and it’s hard to find one that stands out in a vast sea of mediocre ones. Since we discovered it, we have been here 3 times in the last month. The big draw for us? Taste and value. They offer 10 percent off for take out - BONUS! The prices are reasonable and the portions are generous. The 3 or 4 item combo is spot on but last time we ordered a la carte. Very impressed with our meals and portion sizes. The tuna tataki salad is a winner. Fair size, nice char on the tuna and accompanied with a very yummy dressing. I need the recipe. Their rolls have the perfect rice/filling ratio and a good amount of avocado. Nothing worse than when Japanese restaurants overload on rice and then cheap out on avo. We have found our new go to Japanese restaurants! Keep in mind that you may not be able to find parking in the small lot out front. We always opt for street parking instead which is perfectly fine with us. Enjoy!

One of the best in this neighbourhood, Sushi Moon serves complex interpretations of British Columbian style fusion sushi at reasonable prices. My wife works around here and the staff recognise her as a regular and joke that she’s been here too often. Together, we’ve visited a few times and even had lunch with visiting friends from overseas to give them an experience that Vancouverites are privileged to call ‘normal’. How was the food? To start, they all look amazing with their dazzling colours and peculiar shapes. The garnishes, sauces and fried bits all add different tastes and textures to each bite. Yet somehow everything works in harmony: the sweetness, mild spiciness, crunchiness and seafood umami all explode in the mouth in a way that is pleasantly addictive. Part of the fun is to work your way around their comically large menu and incredible selection of innovative rolls. For us who visit regularly, I am sure we will take pride once we have one day ordered every dish on the menu.

This is a really good place for eat a delicious sushi. I ordered the california, tuna avocado and spicy something (I forgot the name haha). The staff so friendly and kind. :) Also if you put your order for to go the have 10% off

My kids and I came here one a week, whether is lunch or dinner . Foods always amazing , staffs are above and beyond with services We love Sushi Moon chicken udon, chicken is very texture not tasteless like other place. Staffs always very accommodating this is one of the reason we always come here every week.

I was skeptical about the high ratings at first. The prices are certainly more than it's competitors but I was really impressed by the quality of food and staff. Nice korean staff and food. Worth the extra price. Great portion size. The korean gimbap. Also I find most restuarants don't treat mid-20s customers the same as the older folks. Great experience!

We love Sushi Moon! Their sushi is very filling! Recently tried their chicken teriyaki don and it was delish! Here, we usually order Salmon Sushi, California Sushi, and their kimbap! Will definitely try their other selections soon!

Recommended! Must try and you will find yourself going back as soon as you left! Food portion is amazingly worth it, always have a leftovers for all the good amazing food they serve here. The place is clean and very relaxing. Just their parking is only 2-3 spots, limited.
